============================================================================ Sparkling the Heart of Fordham a Huge Success Despite Rain
Not even the rain could dampen the spirits of nearly 1,500 Bronx residents who came out for the 9th Annual Sparkling the Heart of Fordham on December 6th, 2013. Despite the weather, families lined up to meet Santa Claus, see the tree lighting, hear the Gloria Dei choir, and take their chance at winning a raffle prize. In spite of the chilly rain, the holiday spirit was contagious.
Sparkling the Heart of Fordham also kicked off the annual Fordham Road discount shopping program. Shoppers took advantage of discounts at nearly 70 unique Fordham Road businesses to complete their holiday shopping, from national chains to local retailers. What a fantastic way to celebrate the holidays in the Bronx's busiest shopping district!

see the gigantic inflatable screen in the middle of Fordham Plaza.
Although the summer movie event series is over, the Fordham Road BID
